Pitton presents at international education conference
Professor Debra Pitton presented a workshop on using case studies to foster problem solving skills in education students at the Hawaii International Education Conference January 4 – 7, 2011. The workshop used her recently published book as a basis for the hands-on session.
Selected to chair the Roundtable Session titled, “Challenging the Norm: Curriculum, Teacher Resistance, and Special Education” at the 2011 AERA Annual Meeting in New Orleans, Louisiana, April 8 – 12.
It is an honor to have been selected to chair the Roundtable Session titled, “Challenging the Norm: Curriculum, Teacher Resistance, and Special Education” at the 2011 AERA Annual Meeting in New Orleans, Louisiana, April 8 – 12. I look forward to the conference and to executing my duties as chair.
