The Gustavus Education Department is moving forward to implement the TPA as a part of the student teaching semester. Students complete an analysis of a unit they teach, including video of their teaching and assessment data. Faculty are currently being trained to evaluate this comprehensive assessment, and all student teachers will complete the TPA as a part of the State of Minnesota’s pilot of this requirement.
