2014 Education Graduates
Education graduates from the class of 2014 gather in Old Main for a group photo before graduation. Of the 37 graduates, 20 currently have teaching positions lined up for the fall. We know the rest will be finding positions soon. Good luck and keep in touch!!
Jane Schuck retires from the Education Department
Jane Schuck, who has taught for 11 years in the Education Department at Gustavus, retires at the end of this academic year. Jane taught Inclusive Classrooms and Reading in the Content Area as well as supervised many student teachers. We will miss her humor and her strong teaching skills!
Ruth Mason Teaching Award given to Deb Pitton
Deb Pitton was awarded the first annual Ruth Mason Teaching Award for ‘Excellence in January Off-Campus Teaching.’ Students from the January 2014 service learning course in Peru nominated Pitton for this award.
